Excuses For Not Doing Homework Youtube

There are quite a lot of things that you need to do in order to come out with flying colors while studying in a university away from your homeland. Procrastinating on homework is one of the major mistakes committed by students and these tips will help you to avoid them all and make yourself more efficient during your student life.

My 16-year-old daughter is finally entering the homestretch of sophomore year, and she has been chronically sleep deprived since September. The reasons are multiple but when you add together 45 minutes of homework per class per night, plus a few extra-curricular activities, plus the downtime spent everyday watching a John Green video on YouTube or chatting with friends, and a normal amount of procrastination, it adds up to between 5 and 7 hours of sleep on an average school night. Throw in a term paper or heavy exam week and the average can easily drop to 3 or 4.

Teenagers stay up late for three main reasons. First, biological shifts in the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone, make teens stay up later. Second, social media can keep kids up and blue light from devices suppresses melatonin production. Third, having a lot of homework can keep kids up late.

Homework. No one wants to do it. But no one wants to get in trouble either. So, here are some of the best homework excuses that are serious, funny, and might even work for strict teachers!

23. In fact, studies have shown the many of the smartest people who have ever lived were procrastinators. Your not turning in homework on time is really just the inner creative genius expressing its unique sovereign identity.

24. To get a really thorough understanding of human handwriting from the western culture, aliens abducted your homework but promised to have it back to you in time so that it may be turned in tomorrow.

omg bc we are sharing our pain together and also we all seem to be teenagers and we are able to relate to one another. also dont be rude and its not hell but like it sucks im on my chromebook rn pretending to do the math im supposed to be doing rn

my phone gets taken away at many times bc im always on it says my parents LIKE literally even they check their phones more then i do like WTHHHH and they dont believe i did my homework so they text my teacher and ask them if i did my homework ;-; plus my siblings r annoying and never wanna hang out :/ so i literally have nothing to do :/

Im so pissed off My mom too my phone just because i told her i had a cough i like wtf Let me be, ive been the whole day in my room doing this stupid ass homework and they dont believe me until they see im doing it, im so pissed off i feel like breaking this stupid ass school chromebook, also another thing, My parents gave me the phone to find friends and now that i found friends and im talking to them through the videochats my parents always come in my room without knocking and there like who are you talking to? i dont have any privacy at all, i wish they could leave me at home for ONE day alone but of course they wont.. they treat me like a 12 year old and im 17!! they are like you cant take care of your self plus that Dang phone might have a tracker for kidnappers im like nothing is gonna happen, PLZ HELP if you have any Way How i can get my phone back because im really REALLY pissed Off.

I brought my phone into my room. thats all i did. my parents went through all my texts and everything on my phone. i was so used to them doing this that i wasnt fazed. im 15 (and 1/2 next month) and just started sophmore year. my parents only give me 3 hours on my phone A DAY. so watching all my friends on their phone i was used to it but honestly it makes everything worse for me. they dont know when ill get it back but i know if i act good without a phone they will see there is no need for one whereas if i act bad they think i dont deserve a phone. i have no way to contact any of my friends. so i eat go to my room come back when i need the bathroom or water and then keep repeating that. i just want my phone back lol

. I am continuing from above. Like I am not with the I cannot live without the phone attitude but the thing is what should I do as I cannot talk to anyone, as Discord and Instagram are off-limits, and those were my go-to places to talk, but my behavior there has been considered bad. What should I do to convince them to let me get it back like two-three, maybe four, five, maybe even six months. This is the first time I have gone without social media in a long time, and it is scary and boring. I was here to look for activities to do so I can lose focus on the socials and focus on my school. Right now I am doing my schoolwork more and trying to be a better person and never repeat my behavior again.

you did nothing wrong by making a youtube channel with your friend. you have every right to express yourself in the way you want so long as it isnt hurting anyone, the fact that your parents clearly dont respect that dissapoints me greatly.

Some teens are naturally motivated and others are not. Some teens are able to succeed at school with ease, and others struggle. But, what is a parent to do when their teen simply refuses to do homework or is suddenly failing a class? Experts recommend parents work to discover the root cause and creatively problem solve with their teen.

Additionally, parents should help their teen establish healthy study habits that will allow him/her to be successful. Some good study habits include: creating a designated homework time and space, removing distractions including electronics, being available to help your teen when they have a problem or get frustrated, teaching them time management skills, and helping them to get organized. You can learn more from our previous blog, Good Study Habits in Teens.

Look like you are just describing my 11 year old daughter, and she is not just refusing to do her homework, but she also refuses to clean her room or help with anything in the house!! she is also very good reader and im always pointing on that as a very positive thing!, the teachers wont stop email me at least once at week by 5 teachers its to much to handle for me!! Im about to be on strikes as a mom.. its being more than a year when you write here, did you find the solution?? did your daughter got any better?

A child with ADHD typically may become hyper focused with activities of interest. For example, children can spend hours in front of a screen playing video games, but they may have trouble finishing even simple homework assignments, or they may throw tantrums and refuse to do chores or schoolwork at home.

Maybe you are doing homework and you realize that you need a better understanding of photosynthesis or the double-slit experiment. Maybe you want to have a time machine and need a YouTube tutorial on how to build one. Or maybe you have already been working for 8 hours straight and need a way to numb your mind with stupid entertainment. Well, whatever it is, it must wait until [6 pm] (or whatever time you have decided on). Again, learn to use the power of procrastination to your benefit.

If you see this through, you will have more time to take action, to get after your goals, or simply to enjoy life more. I hope that you have something else to do besides watching YouTube videos. Typically, YouTube is a means of procrastination and you know very well what you should be doing instead.

A proactive approach to homework early in the school year has helped many teachers keep students on track academically and away from the negative lessons of detention or missed recess. But no matter what time of the year it is, if your students are struggling with homework, you might want to spend a week or two re-introducing it to your class.

This does not mean that teachers need to create different homework assignments for every student every day, of course. There are obviously some assignments that everyone has to do and can easily accomplish, like writing in a journal or practicing spelling words. This work, like project homework in which students have had some choice in the assignment, is differentiated by default because students will choose how much they do in these situations.

Specific differentiation is needed, however, for those students whose ability or work ethic is in need of support. There may be a student, for example, who struggles with math. For this child, completing the standard homework assignment of 20 math problems could mean two hours of grueling work as opposed to the 20 minutes it takes for most. Anticipating this, the teacher might adjust the length of the assignment accordingly.

Other modifications might include arranging for a child to get help with a homework assignment from a parent or sibling or modifying the way in which an assignment is done (for example, dictating rather than writing, or having a parent read a chapter from a textbook to a child rather than the child reading it him/herself).

And, of course, this will happen. One approach is to use logical consequences. A student who has been given reasonable, respectful, and related homework and who still has occasional creative excuses needs to experience equally creative consequences that send the message that completing homework is a requirement of being a member of the class.

This site is intended to help guide students/parents through assigned homework. You will see a sample of what was done in class and how it was completed correctly. Below is an example of the top of the homework page for grades K-6. This example is for Grade 3, Module 1, Lesson 1.

While this philosophy seems simplistic at first glance, it is significant because it acknowledges that we as educators must ensure the academic success of our students down to the detail of making sure they complete their homework. No longer do we give zeroes for missing work or half credit for homework a day late. Instead, we require the students to do the work. This lets the students know that we value this homework so much that we will not let them out of it. 2ff7e9595c
